Pricing
Priced per school. The first term is free.
Every school starts with a pilot term on its own curriculum, at no cost. After that the price follows the size of your roll, and work a teacher assigns still costs a pupil nothing.

Questions about pricing
Why are the prices not listed?
A fair price for a 90-pupil school and a fair price for a 1,200-pupil school are different numbers, and printing one of them would mislead most of the schools reading this page. Tell us your roll and we will quote against it.
What does the pilot include?
The complete platform for a term, with no feature switched off, running on your own curriculum. The point is for your teachers to judge real output on the books they teach.
Do students pay?
No. Caalim is free to download, every new account is credited with 15 coins, and everything a teacher assigns through Layli reaches a pupil at no cost however much of it there is. Caalim's own study tools are the exception: summarising or revising material a pupil chose for themselves runs on coins, topped up inside the app with Waafi or eDahab. Caalim's terms of service, at https://caalimapp.com/terms, cover coins and top-ups.
Can we pay per term rather than per year?
Yes. School budgets rarely arrive in one piece, and when you pay is part of the conversation.
What happens to our data if we stop?
It stays yours and it exports: student records, results, attendance. We do not hold a school's records hostage to a renewal.

One term, your curriculum, no cost. If your teachers do not want to keep it at the end of it, you have spent a conversation.
