How it works
Four steps, from textbook page to marked homework
The platform is one loop. Dashboards, attendance and reports are built out of what happens inside it, so none of them needs filling in.

Choose the grade, subject, chapter and page range from your school's library. The same books your class is holding.

Layli reads those pages and writes what you asked for: a lesson plan, a summary, revision questions or a homework set.

Read the draft, change what you want changed, assign it. Nobody queues at the photocopier.

See what came back
Homework returns marked, written answers as well as multiple choice. Those scores feed the class and school dashboards on their own.

Common questions
Which curricula does Layli support?
Somaliland, Puntland, Somalia, Edexcel and international curricula. Everything is generated from the textbook pages in your school's own library, so it follows the syllabus you teach and uses the words your pupils have already been taught.
Do students need their own smartphone?
Assigned work reaches pupils through Caalim, our student app, on Android today and on iPhone soon. Nothing a teacher assigns costs a pupil anything. Where a class shares devices, teachers carry on using Layli for planning, printing and marking, and no pupil has to own a phone.
Does the AI replace the teacher?
No. What Layli writes is a draft. Marks on written answers are proposals waiting in a review queue, and none of them reaches a pupil until a teacher approves it.
What if our school has no laboratory?
Layli carries physics, chemistry and biology simulations for schools in that position. Pupils change the variables and watch what happens, on a laptop or a projector, which is the part a diagram cannot do.
Does it work in Somali as well as English?
The teacher platform runs in both, and support and training do too. Generated material follows the language of the textbook pages you picked.
How long does it take to get a school running?
An afternoon. Classes get set up and your student roll imports from the spreadsheet you already keep. Most schools begin with one or two subjects and add the rest once the staff room is used to it.
